Irv Leavitt

Irv Leavitt is a seasoned journalist and PR consultant with extensive experience in media and content creation. Currently serving as a columnist for Substack's "Honest Context" since June 2020, Leavitt also operates Able Mouse Media as the Boss since October 2017, providing services in PR consulting, content production, social media management, and crisis management. Prior to these roles, Leavitt was recognized as the Illinois Press Association's #1 columnist in 2018 while writing for Chronicle Media, LLC, and spent nearly three decades as a columnist and staff writer for Pioneer Press/Tribune Publishing, where expertise in humor, feature writing, and local news was developed. Leavitt holds a Bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
