Jamil Abreu has extensive experience in product operations and customer success, currently serving in a Product Operations role at Substack since October 2020. Previously, Jamil worked as a Senior Customer Success Manager at Bevy from October 2018 to October 2019 and as a Happiness Engineer at Automattic from August 2014 to September 2018, where a passion for helping people was cultivated. Jamil's early career included a position with Major League Baseball in International Baseball Operations, focusing on streamlining registration processes and improving contract approvals, as well as founding the National Dominican Student Conference, which attracted significant sponsorship and participation. Jamil also gained corporate sales experience at Procter & Gamble, where successful sales calls were made under rigorous training conditions. Jamil is an alumnus of Yale University.
