Michael Y. Liu, CFA, is a highly experienced financial professional with an extensive background in asset-backed securities (ABS) and collateralized debt obligations (CDO). Currently serving as Managing Director at Guggenheim Securities since February 2011, Michael progressed through various roles at the firm, including Director, Vice President, and Associate, all focused on ABS and CDO trading. Prior experience includes a position as an Analyst in Omnium Knowledge Management at Citadel LLC and as a Research Analyst at Brighton House Associates. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Chicago, earned between 2005 and 2009.
