Gregory Merran

Gregory Merran has a diverse work experience. Gregory started their career as a Ph.D. Student Lecturer at Université Paris Dauphine-PSL in 2001 and continued until 2004. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a Volatility Trader at Merrill Lynch. Gregory then moved on to J.P. Morgan, where they worked as a Correlation Trader from 2005 to 2009. Gregory joined Exane in 2010 as the Head of Proprietary Trading and stayed until 2012. In 2012, they became the Head of Portfolio Management at SUCDEN Groupe Sucres & Denrées. In 2019, they joined Sucden Ventures as the General Manager/CIO. Gregory is currently working as an Associate Professor of Managerial Economics at HEC Paris MBA, starting in March 2022.

Gregory Merran has an Advanced Management Program (AMP) degree from Harvard Business School. Gregory also has a Master of Science and Agregation degree in Economics & Statistics from École normale supérieure Paris-Saclay, and a Sciences Po Paris Diploma with a major in Economic Law, cum laude. Additionally, they hold a Master of Science in Probability & Finance, summa cum laude, and is currently completing a PhD program in Financial Applied Mathematics at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL. Gregory has also been recognized as a prize winner in Economic Sciences by the Association des Lauréats du Concours Général.
