Dr. Michael Buser

Dr. Michael Buser serves as the Head of Risk Engineering at SÜDVERS since 2022, specializing in risk engineering services and consulting programs, including risk assessments and technical support for risk improvement. With over 20 years of experience in technical risk management, Dr. Buser has held key positions at various organizations, including ATLAS Consulting, where risk consulting and training in fire safety and natural hazards are prominent. Dr. Buser also coordinates educational programs for the German Insurance Academy (DVA) and has previously led risk engineering at Gothaer and HDI Global SE. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Applied Technical Chemistry from the University of Münster and several certifications in quality management and pollution control.
