Silvio Riggio

Silvio Riggio is currently employed as an Ingénieur Chercheur Bioprocédés Modélisation at SUEZ since October 2022. With a diverse background in environmental engineering, Silvio has held research and engineering positions at various institutions, including research internships at UNSW and Naskeo Environnement, where studies focused on toxic compound transfer in soils and biogas performance of spent animal bedding. Silvio's experience includes a Research Associate role at Imperial College London analyzing Bioaugmentation effects, and a Consultant Engineer internship at GIRUS optimizing recyclate collection. Prior to the current role, Silvio worked at BioEnTech as a Bioprocess & Modelling Engineer, managing projects and developing models for bioprocess monitoring, and also served as a Product Manager overseeing product development. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering and a Research Master's degree from INSA Lyon, followed by a PhD in Environmental Technology from Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée.
