AJ is a Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, focusing on researching sunscreen development. AJ is also the Founder and Formulation Chemist at SULA LABS INC., a cosmetic R&D lab partnering with brands developing technologies for darker skin tones. With a background in molecular biology, AJ has experience in various research and leadership roles in the skincare and beauty industry, including roles at Revision Skincare®, MÜD, and adwoa beauty™. AJ's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Northeastern University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Chemistry at UCLA.
