I served as Chairman, CEO, and majority owner of Primus Technologies, a manufacturer of mission-critical electronics to protect, defend, and save lives. Over nearly two decades, I led a transformation that delivered industry-leading performance across all key metrics including EBITDA margins, award-winning quality, best-in-class safety, and employee retention averaging ten years—more than double the U.S. median. In 2020, I directed Primus’s strategic sale to Spartronics, creating a combined enterprise with more than $500 million in revenue and establishing Primus’s campus as the headquarters for the entire company.
Primus manufactured thousands of highly complex electronic assemblies for defense, aerospace, medical and industrial industries. Our solutions were for missile defense, flight-critical aircraft sensors, military communication and encryption, advanced mammography systems, neonatal monitoring devices, and nuclear power plant controls. The company earned the Paveway Missile Supplier Quality award after manufacturing 57,000 electronic assemblies with zero defects in one year. Performance was further recognized with a $100 million flagship defense program award in 2017 and Raytheon’s Premier Partnership Awards in 2017 and 2019—honors presented to approximately ten out of 10,000 suppliers .
Today, I lead my private family office, Sullivan Capital, and serve on select boards. My philanthropic work focuses on children’s welfare, education, and community health. I serve on the Board of Directors of Make-A-Wish Connecticut and previously served on the Board of Trustees of Bucknell University and the Board of Directors of Geisinger Health, where I chaired the Finance Committee of the $7 billion integrated health system.
