Greg Freemeyer

Director, Forensics & Disputes at SullivanStrickler

Greg Freemeyer is the Director of Forensics and Disputes at SullivanStrickler. Greg has over 20 years of experience in the field of computer forensics and has been with SullivanStrickler for 4 years.

Prior to joining SullivanStrickler, Greg was the CTO and Testifying Computer Expert at IAC Forensic Services. In this role, they provided computer forensic expert services for incident response and litigation support. Greg also served as the senior architect on Intelligent Avatar's next generation security products.

Before IAC, Greg was with The Norcross Group for 20 years where they held various positions including CTO and Litigation Triage Solutions Specialist, Senior Engineer, and Head of Litigation Triage Solutions. In these roles, they were responsible for developing policies and procedures for computer forensic imaging and electronic evidence collection. Greg also performed imaging of atypical systems such as servers, SCSI, RAID, FC, SAN, etc.

In addition to their work in the private sector, Greg has also been involved in mentoring programs such as Google Summer of Code Mentor where they mentored students in extending filesystem tests to cover snapshots.

Greg has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Greg Freemeyer attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1979 to 1983, where they studied physics. Greg also completed 50% of a Masters of Electrical Engineering at the same school. In addition, Greg is a Certified eDiscovery Professional from the Organization of Legal Professionals, and an HP Master ASE SAN Architect – Data Availability from Hewlett Packard.

The team of Greg Freemeyer is responsible for forensics and disputes within the company. This includes data risk and remediation, eDiscovery support services, and physical data security. The team is led by Greg Freemeyer and also includes Dean Felicetti, Tameca Brooks, Jennifer Jackson, Shawn Strickler, Bret Sanders, Elaine Brophy, and Paul Maggio.
