Celeste Durán

Celeste Durán has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Celeste currently works as the Marketing & HR Director at SUMAC, where they are responsible for internal and external communication, email marketing campaigns, team management, recruitment and selection, performance evaluations, remote team integration, and talent retention. Celeste also worked as a Professor of People Analytics at CETUNI SAC, where they designed and delivered a virtual course for HR professionals. Previously, they worked at Hospital Privado de Comunidad as a Rotating Member of the Hospital Ethics Committee and as an Analyst of Marketing and Institutional Communication, where they implemented marketing and communication plans, created content for health promotion, managed social media and website, and organized medical community events. Celeste also has experience as a Co-Founder at Pragma Consultoría, a Freelance SEO Copywriter at Punto Rojo, and as a Teacher at Sanatorio Junín. In addition, they worked as a Content Analyst at MRM//McCann, an Assistant Market Researcher at Estudio Prisma, a Journalistic Writer at Pequeñas Noticias, and as an Editorial Coordinator at CipperNews.com.

Celeste Durán has a diverse educational background. Celeste started their education at Tea Deportea, where they studied Tecnicatura Superior en Periodismo General from 2012 to 2014. Celeste then continued their studies at the University of Buenos Aires, obtaining a Licenciatura en Sociología from 2014 to 2019. In 2015 to 2016, they pursued another degree at the Universidad Nacional de San Martín, where they earned a Licenciada en Comunicación Audiovisual. Additionally, Celeste spent a brief period in 2017 at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, studying Sociología for one year. Currently, they are focused on their future plans and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Administración y gestión de empresas, general, as well as a Máster en Dirección de Recursos Humanos, specializing in Gestión de recursos humanos/Administración de personal, both at ENEB - Escuela de Negocios Europea de Barcelona from 2022 to 2024.
