Travis Sumner

Travis is a co-founder and principal of the company. Travis has spent his entire career in ecological restoration – in the field, logging tens of thousands of hours constructing some of the most exciting and innovative restoration projects in the Northeast.

As a Principal of the firm, Travis focuses on strategic growth, planning, client development, and staff leadership. As Director of Field Operations, he leads SumCo Eco’s overall field project execution and is additionally responsible for its wetland earthwork, coastal resiliency, and planting activities.

Travis received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Union College; is a Licensed Hoisting Engineer; member of SER, ASME, SAE, and Order of the Engineer.
