Sumiden Wire Products Corporation
Sumiden Wire Products Corporation (SWPC) was the first investment in the United States by Sumitomo Electric Industries, LTD (SEI). The investment was made in Stockton, California in 1979 for the production of high carbon PC strand. An additional investment was made in Dickson, Tennessee in 1989 for the production of stainless steel wire. The Tennessee facility expanded its product offering to include PC strand for the east coast in 1997. Both locations have continued to expand over the years due to our company policy of high quality products, along with our technical and engineering support services, which are recognized by our highly valued customers.
