SummaCor is developing the LCAPP (Linear Cardiac Assist Pulsatile Pump), a first-of-its-kind truly pulsatile percutaneous ventricular assist device (pVAD) designed to support patients with heart failure by unloading the left ventricle and restoring physiological perfusion to vital organs.

Unlike current continuous-flow pVADs, which can cause shear-related complications and limit native pulsatility, LCAPP delivers synchronized, native-like cardiac support with simplified monitoring and deployment.
