Summer Consultants, Inc. is a Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP/FP) and Commissioning engineering design and consulting firm. We are a small business specializing in the repair, renovation and rehabilitation of federal, institutional, higher education, and historic facilities. Unlike traditional MEP/FP firms, we are the prime consultant on nearly 80% of our projects, and we are experienced with leading multi-discipline A/E teams.

Every project requires a tailored solution. Our engineers design “on-site, in the field,” developing creative options to meet project challenges and needs. We design with long-term sustainability in mind, focusing not only on high efficiency, but also system maintainability.

Our experience includes:
     •	Repairs, renovations and additions
     •	New construction
     •	Historic preservation
     •	Sustainable design including LEED Gold and Silver buildings
     •	Building Information Modeling (BIM)
     •	Project management

Whether we are working in older utility tunnels and mechanical rooms, updating historic facilities, or designing new systems – we tackle projects that other firms struggle with. We are proud of our work providing A/E services and strive to maintain our reputation as one of the most efficient and reliable engineering firms in the business.
