Dan Macklin

Dan Macklin is currently the President of Summer, where they help individuals navigate and reduce student debt. As a venture advisor at AI Fund, Dan supports the acceleration of AI adoption, and serves as a board member at ValidMind, focusing on model risk management. Previously, Dan co-founded SoFi, which achieved an $18 billion valuation post-IPO, and was the CEO of Salary Finance, enhancing financial health through socially-responsible benefits. They also have extensive experience at Standard Chartered Bank, where Dan held various positions over 12 years, and have been actively involved as an angel investor and advisor to multiple early-stage companies. Dan holds a Master of Science in Management from Stanford University and a BA in Business Economics from the University of Durham.
