Mark Dutton

Mark Dutton is a Director at Summers-Inman, based in the Newcastle Office, with 25 years of experience in the construction industry as a chartered Quantity Surveyor. Since joining the practice in 2000, they have provided services in Cost Planning & Management, Contract Administration, and Project Management, while currently focusing on the adoption of Building Information Modelling. Mark's notable projects include the redevelopment of the Arnison Centre and the new production facility for Thorn Lighting, and they are the Framework Director for the contract with Severn Trent Water. Mark holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying from the University of Greenwich and is particularly skilled in whole life and lifecycle costing. Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with their two young children, engaging with gadgets, reading historical fiction, and skiing.
