For over 30 years Summit Aviation has provided an exceptional service of maintaining & repairing Pratt & Whitney engines & more recently have transitioned into CFM56-3 engines.

Summit Aviation is a UK based CAA Part 145 (B1) & FAA Approved Repair Station that specialises in all series of JT3D, JT8D & CFM56-3 engines.

Summit's workshops are equipped and staffed with highly experienced Licensed & Certified personnel to provide all engineering services needed in the maintenance & repair of JT8D, JT3D & CFM56-3 engines including modifications, and component changes, dry and chemical cleaning, and all work necessary for Service Bulletin and Airworthiness Directive Incorporation & Compliance.

Where it is necessary to work on an engine "On Wing", Summit Engineers can provide Field Service Support anywhere in the world, working to CAA Part 145 Standards (Approval No UK.145.00576).

Summit can also supply any technical assistance required, either at its Customer's base of Operations or anywhere else in the world.

Summit Aviation can provide both JT8 all series engines for short or long term lease, or they can be made the subject of a very cost-effective "power by the hour" contract.

The engines can also be provided for outright sale or exchange, configured to Customers precise requirements.

Since 2003 Summit Aviation has owned & operated its own CAA Part 145, FAA Approved test cell facility. Located between Gloucester and Cheltenham, the facility is easily accessed by all major rail, road and air links.
