Mark Shears

Mark Shears is an experienced aviation professional with a varied career spanning over two decades. Since May 2016, Mark has held multiple roles at Summit Aviation, including Aviation Professional, Avionics Technician, Production Facility Manager, and Quality Assurance Manager. Prior to Summit Aviation, Mark served as an Automotive Specialist at Willis Chevrolet for a brief period in 2016. From January 2007 to September 2015, Mark worked at Sikorsky Aircraft in several capacities, including Aircraft Project Manager, Production Manager, Production Line Supervisor, and Lead Technician, where responsibilities ranged from managing production and schedules to modifying electrical systems. Mark's career began in the US Army, where from July 1998 to March 2007, Mark excelled as a Special Operations Aircraft Avionics, Electrical Repairer, and Flight Maintenance Supervisor, gaining significant expertise in maintenance and support for various helicopter models during combat and training missions. Mark is a graduate of R.B. Hayes High School with a focus on Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology.
