Bill Lean has a strong background in telecommunications and technology, with extensive experience in various roles. Bill began their career at MPInet as a Senior Account Executive, where they exceeded sales quotas and managed local and national accounts. Bill then became the Integration Manager at MPInet, overseeing sales engineering and installation while establishing strategic vendor relationships. Bill moved on to DURO Communications, where they served as the Sales Manager, successfully managing corporate sales and implementing sales strategies across multiple locations. Bill also held the role of Broadband Product Manager at DURO, leading the launch of new broadband products and designing referral/wholesale programs. Bill joined Smart City as a Sales Manager, contributing to the development of a new CLEC product line and managing strategic vendor relationships. Bill later joined Revelation Networks Inc. as the Director of Project Management, where they were responsible for provisioning services, managing vendor relations, and negotiating contracts. Bill then joined Clearwire as a Subject Matter Expert for business VOIP solutions. Most recently, they have been employed at Summit Broadband, serving in various roles such as Vice President of Carrier Wholesale and Solution Architecture and Director of Solution Architecture and Product. In these roles, they have been responsible for managing design-build projects, leading solution architecture, and overseeing product development. Throughout their career, Bill has demonstrated strong leadership, sales, and project management skills.
Bill Lean attended Curry College from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a BA degree in Politics & History. Bill then enrolled at Comair Aviation Academy in 1992 and completed the Commercial Pilot Program, earning a CMI degree in 1993.
