Jamin Lopez is an experienced professional in geology and engineering, currently serving as a Field Engineer at SUMMIT Engineering, Laboratory & Testing, Inc. since August 2020. Jamin has also held the position of Geology Intern at the Ministry of Economic Development and Petroleum in Belize since June 2018, where a geological map of St. Margaret’s Village was completed and analyzed using ArcGIS. As a Student Researcher at Western Kentucky University, efforts included generating seismic resolution 2D and 3D volumes using Kingdom to analyze subsurface features. Previous experience includes serving as a Bank Teller at Belize Bank Limited and an internship at Oceana, where educational outreach on environmental issues was conducted. Jamin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Western Kentucky University, a Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science with a concentration in Geoscience from the University of New Orleans, and an Associate's degree in Environmental Science from Saint John's College.
