Dirk Thornton

Dirk Thornton has extensive work experience in the field of technology and operations. Dirk began their career as an IT Technician at Waste Connections, Inc. in 2011 and worked there until 2014. Dirk then joined Cornejo and Sons as an IT Manager from 2014 to 2018. Dirk's most recent position was with Summit Materials, where they held two roles. Dirk started as a Technical Operations Support Manager in January 2018 and was later promoted to Director of Network Operations in November 2022.

Dirk Thornton received their Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General from Friends University, where they attended from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Computer Technology Diploma in Computer Science from Vatterott College, where they studied from 2006 to 2007.
