Tom D.

Tom D. is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in organizational leadership and board governance. Currently serving as an Operating Partner at Summit Park since January 2025, Tom also contributes as a member of the Board of Directors for FOX Factory and previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at SDI/Hickory Holding Inc. from January 2023 to January 2024, where the focus was on outdoor storage manufacturing and retail. As President and CEO of Positec Tool Corp. from January 2005 to January 2022, Tom successfully grew the company from a start-up to over $300 million in annual revenue within a decade, earning recognition as North Carolina's fastest-growing privately held mid-market company in 2010. Additionally, Tom served on the Board of Directors for Fast Growing Trees, an e-commerce enterprise specializing in direct-to-consumer live plants. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Critical Thinking from the University of Virginia and a Master's degree in International Business Studies from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.
