Ryan Grimshaw

Ryan Grimshaw, CFA, currently serves as a Portfolio Manager at Summit Partners, where Ryan has worked since November 2019, progressing through roles as Senior Equity Analyst and Equity Analyst. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Associate in Corporate Development and Strategy at Toast, Inc. and various roles, including Analyst and Associate at GCP (Garelick Capital Partners). Earlier in the career, Ryan was an Investment Banking Analyst at Needham & Company and a professional hockey player from April 2012 to April 2015, competing in leagues such as the AHL and ECHL, as well as in Europe. Ryan began the professional journey with an internship in Private Equity at Harvard Management Company and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University, awarded in 2012.
