Daren Thomas is an experienced educator and coach with a diverse background in health and physical education, special education, and event coordination. Since July 2014, Daren has worked at Sumner County Schools as a Health Safety Teacher and Head Football Coach, previously holding the position of Special Education Teacher and Assistant Football Coach. Daren also operates Daren’s Handy Works LLC as a handyman since May 2019. Prior experience includes positions at Drakes Creek Activity Center, where Daren managed events and maintenance, and Woodland Hills Youth Development Center, focusing on at-risk youth education. Daren's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Cumberland University.
