Chas Clawson

Chas Clawson is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and information systems, currently serving as Field CTO - Security Solutions at Sumo Logic since June 2019 and as a Professor of Computer Networks and Cybersecurity at the University of Maryland University College since April 2018. Previous roles include Product Marketing Manager for ArcSight at Micro Focus, Senior ArcSight SIEM Engineer & SOC Architect at Hewlett-Packard, and NSA Red Team penetration tester at the United States Department of Defense. Chas also has experience as a SIEM Solutions Architect at Accuvant, Cyber Security Engineer at TASC, Inc., and Supervising IT Auditor at Brigham Young University Hawaii. Chas holds an MS in Information Systems/Security from George Mason University and a BS in Information Systems from Brigham Young University–Hawaii.
