Eric Dattore

Eric Dattore is a seasoned professional in the field of software engineering and site reliability, currently serving as a Staff Site Reliability Engineer and FinOps Lead at Sumo Logic since May 2024. Concurrently, Eric has been an Adjunct Faculty member at the Colorado School of Mines since August 2021, teaching Web Programming and Web Applications. Prior experience includes a role as a Staff Software Engineer at CircleCI, where Eric focused on projects aimed at reducing cloud spend, and a progressive career at Pivotal Software, Inc., where Eric advanced from Associate Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer, leading efforts in infrastructure migration and backend development. Earlier roles include positions at NCAR and an internship at Pivotal Software, Inc., complementing Eric's educational background with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the Colorado School of Mines.
