Marvin has held positions such as Head of Strategy and Corporate Ventures at Sumscope, Founding Partner at Longhill Investments, and Venture Partner at Octopus Ventures. Marvin has also worked at HSBC Global Banking and Markets as an Associate Director and Senior Investment Associate in the Strategic Innovation Investments department. Prior to that, they gained experience at Torch Partners, SMC Capital China, Frost & Sullivan, and The Parthenon Group. Marvin began their career at HSBC, focusing on trade supply chain.
Marvin Ma, CFA completed their MSc in Finance with a focus on Corporate Finance at Cass Business School from 2009 to 2010. Marvin previously obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Information Technology from Zhejiang University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009.
