Alia von Werder

Alia von Werder, LL.M., currently serves as the Global Head of Legal Product Counsel at SumUp, a role held since May 2021, after advancing from positions as Lead Legal Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel. Prior to SumUp, Alia von Werder was the Senior Legal Counsel for the DACH region at Lime for a brief period in early 2021, and held the title of Legal Lead at YUNAR by Ambidexter from March 2019 to November 2020. Alia von Werder's earlier career includes significant legal roles at Loewenheim Rechtsanwälte and wintzer + von werder rechtsanwälte, where Alia von Werder served as a partner and Rechtsanwältin, as well as experience at KT Rechtsanwälte and Bundesweiter arbeitsrechtlicher Verband. Alia von Werder holds an LL.M. in Medienrecht from Mainzer Medieninstitut an der Universität Mainz, a Zweites Staatsexamen in Rechtswissenschaften from OLG Düsseldorf, and an Erstes Staatsexamen in Jura from Uni Augsburg.
