Asya K. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in payment partnerships and business development within the fintech sector. Currently serving as Head of Payment Partnerships and Head of Banking Relations at SumUp since January 2021, Asya previously held the role of Senior Payment Partnerships Manager. In addition to corporate roles, Asya co-founded Yolda bi' Blog, an award-winning Travel & Lifestyle blog based in Berlin. Prior experience includes serving as Business Development Manager at ONPEX, where responsibilities involved transaction banking in a B2B environment, and working as a Legal Analyst for Mergers and Acquisitions at Deutsche Börse. Earlier roles at Vodafone focused on contract management and financial analysis. Asya holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Finance from Goethe University Frankfurt and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Istanbul University.
