Evelyn Bueno

Evelyn Bueno is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in regulatory counsel and legal management. Currently serving as Global Regulatory Counsel for SumUp since August 2019, Evelyn has defined and implemented regulatory strategies across several jurisdictions, including Brazil, Chile, Ireland, Lithuania, and the UK. As Head of Legal, leadership involved managing a team of ten professionals and fostering relationships with market associations, legislators, and regulators. Additionally, Evelyn is a board member at ABIPAG, contributing to strategic initiatives and representing the association in regulatory discussions. Previous roles include Directora Jurídica at Engelhart Commodities Trading Partners and Lawyer at BTG Pactual, where contributions included advising on legal matters in Latin America and structuring significant debt capital market transactions.
