Frederik Severin

Frederik Severin is an experienced procurement and business leader currently serving as the Global Head of Procurement at SumUp since 2019, where responsibilities include leading global procurement strategies and participating in the AI Board to drive AI initiatives across the organization. Frederik has also held roles such as Head of SumUp Consultants, overseeing cross-functional teams to enhance growth strategies, and Co-Lead of the Consumer Tribe, focused on developing consumer-centric financial services. Prior experience includes serving as an Investment Manager at Schumpeter Ventures, co-founding the fashion label Preach, and holding various roles in business development and consulting. Frederik holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and has furthered education at institutions such as Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, and Tongji University.
