Gabriel Resende

Gabriel Resende is a seasoned professional in engineering and product management, currently serving as the Director of Engineering & Product at SumUp since February 2023. Previously, Gabriel held various leadership roles at POSpulse from February 2017 to April 2022, including CTO and Head of Technology, as well as Senior Software Engineer. At Embraer, from August 2011 to October 2016, Gabriel worked as a Product Development Engineer, contributing to the KC-390 aircraft project by translating client needs into technical specifications. Gabriel co-founded Chegue.La in July 2012, a platform for national intercity bus travel information, and began the career as an intern at Siemens in 2011. Academic credentials include an Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering from USP and a Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA).
