Henry George

Henry George is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the Head of Engineering for the Order & Pay Tribe at SumUp, where Henry leads a team in developing scalable products using modern Serverless architecture. Concurrently, Henry volunteers as an instructor at Code First Girls, teaching Data and SQL. Prior to this, Henry held multiple senior roles, including CTO at Trilo, VP of Engineering at Expend, and Head of Technology at StepEx, where contributions included managing engineering processes and developing machine learning software for FinTech solutions. Henry has also been involved in academic roles, including advisory positions with King’s College London and tutoring in mathematics and technology. Educational qualifications include an Honours Bachelor's degree in Advanced Mathematics and Computer Science from UNSW, along with study abroad experience at King’s College London.
