Sebastián Avilés

Sebastián Avilés is the Regional Manager Latam SSC at SumUp, having held various key positions within the company since 2019, including Lending Manager Brazil, where they launched and scaled the Merchant Cash Advance product. Prior to their role at SumUp, Sebastián served as New Merchants Manager at Compraquí from 2017 to 2019, contributing to the development of a micro-acquiring network for PYMES in Chile. They began their career as a Consultant at Simon-Kucher & Partners from 2013 to 2017. Sebastián holds a degree in Ingeniero Civil de Industrias with a Diploma in Ingeniería en Tecnologías de Información from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
