An Tran is a Software Engineer at SumUp since July 2022, focusing on building and maintaining performant UI components and scalable APIs for merchant platforms. Prior experience includes a role as a Hardware Development Engineer at midge medical GmbH, where An Tran developed innovative hardware solutions for medical diagnostics, and positions as a Research Assistant at EPFL and The University of Edinburgh, studying advanced materials and blood diagnostics. An Tran holds a Master of Science with Distinction in Microsystems Technology from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Danang University of Technology and Sciences.
