Catherine Penn

Catherine Penn's work experience begins in 1995 as a District Manager at Pacific Sunwear. Catherine then worked as a General Manager at The Gap from 2000 to 2001. From 2003 to 2007, they returned to Pacific Sunwear as a District Manager. Catherine joined Tilly's in 2007 as a District Manager, overseeing store openings, staff recruiting, team development, and merchandising. Catherine then joined Victoria's Secret in 2009 as a District Manager, achieving top performance and serving as a mentor. In 2015, they founded Healthy Little Secret, a small business focused on health and fitness coaching and healthy food catering. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at Apple as a Manager, leading a team and conducting team development sessions. Catherine then joined Nixon as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and HR Generalist in 2021. In 2022, they became a People and Culture Manager at Sun Bum, responsible for talent acquisition. In 2023, they became the Director of People and Culture, overseeing talent management and office operations at Sun Bum.

Catherine Penn attended Santa Fe Community College from 1992 to 1994, where they studied humanities. Catherine did not graduate with a degree from this institution. In terms of additional certifications, Catherine obtained certifications in Diversity Recruiting and Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging from LinkedIn in March 2021.
