Mike Morelli

Mike Morelli has a strong background in safety and risk management. Mike is currently the VP of Safety and Operational Risk at Sun Communities & Sun RV Resorts since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon as a Senior Workplace Health and Safety Manager from June 2020 to August 2021. From December 2014 to June 2020, they held the position of Safety and Compliance Director at Feld Entertainment, where they provided leadership and guidance to the Environmental, Health, Safety, and Risk Management teams. Before that, they worked at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, starting as a Safety Specialist in April 2003 and progressing to roles such as Safety Manager and Environmental, Health, and Safety Director until December 2014. Mike began their career at Lucent Technologies in February 1995, focusing on Emergency Management until April 2003.

Mike Morelli completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at the University of Phoenix from 1998 to 2002. Subsequently, from 2005 to 2008, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Safety Security and Emergency Management at Eastern Kentucky University.
