Reed Colvin is an experienced professional in the fitness and brewing industries, currently serving as a Brewer at Sun King Brewery & Spirits since September 2019. Prior to this role, Reed worked as a Cellarman at Flat12 Bierwerks from October 2017 to September 2019, and held the position of 1oz Bag Production Lead at Broad Ripple Chip Co. from October 2016 to October 2017. Reed's extensive background in fitness includes operating as a Self-Employed Certified Personal Trainer from June 2009 to April 2016, focusing on personalized fitness programs and nutrition, as well as working as a Personal Trainer at National Fitness Center from September 2005 to May 2009, where responsibilities included overseeing operations and employee training. Reed holds a Master of Arts in Exercise Physiology and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Fitness Management, both from The University of Alabama.

Sun King Brewing Company is an Independently owned Indiana Brewery. Conceived by two professional brewers, Dave Colt and Clay Robinson, and started with the help of family and friends, Sun King rolled out their first keg of beer in July of 2009.
