Wale Aboyade

Wale Aboyade, PhD, is a seasoned professional in public policy and government relations, currently serving as Vice President at Sun King since August 2025. Additionally, Wale holds key positions at various organizations, including Board Member for the Resilient Water Accelerator, Commissioner for the National Academy of Medicine’s Climate & Health Roadmap Commission, and Co-Founder of Protergia Energy Ltd. Wale's prior experience includes leadership roles at the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet and senior energy specialist at USAID, where substantial funding was successfully leveraged for clean energy projects. Wale's academic credentials include a PhD in Chemical/Process Engineering from Stellenbosch University and an Executive Certificate from Harvard Kennedy School.
