Phil Ross

Phil Ross is currently the VP of Engineering & Sales at Sun Microstamping Technologies. Prior to this, they were the General Manager at Comar Inc. from February 2012 to April 2017. Before that, they were the Director of Engineering at Nypro from September 1999 to February 2012.

Phil Ross has extensive experience in the healthcare and steel manufacturing industries. At Comar Inc., they oversaw an operation that included injection molding, injection blow molding, and extrusion blow molding. At Nypro, they led the organization and was responsible for driving sales revenue and target profit margins. Phil also developed growth strategies for emerging business sectors, both in Puerto Rico and abroad.

Ross is a seasoned Director of Program Management, leading a team of three Program Managers responsible for sales, quotations, and product transfers (up to 80 new products annually). Phil has direct accountability for new product transfer budget, timelines and validation. Ross has also led all negotiations and had final approval on non-recurring engineering expenses (up to $1,000,000) for new programs.

Phil Ross has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Phil also has a certification from LinkedIn in Jeff Weiner on Managing Compassionately, a certification from Shingo Institute - Home of the Shingo Prize in Principles of Operational Excellence, a certification from ASQ - World Headquarters in ASQ Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and a certification from RJG, Inc. in Master Molder I.

Their manager is Antonio Cardona, CEO. Phil Ross works with Joarimar Lugo - Chief Operating Officer, Charlotte Clarke - Marketing Manager, and Scott Moore - Chief Financial Officer.
