Meeta Chatterjee

Meeta Chatterjee has an extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Meeta is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer at SUN PHARMA since August 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Member Board of Directors at Editas Medicine and Werewolf Therapeutics starting from December 2020 and October 2021 respectively. From March 2019 to November 2022, Meeta was the SVP of Global Business Development & Alliance Management at Legend Biotech. Meeta also worked at Merck, where they held various roles including Head of Strategy, Transactions, and Operations, BD&L at Merck Research Laboratories, Head of Office of Business Strategy and Operations, BD&L at Merck Research Labs, and Head of Global Out Licensing and Asset Management. Before Merck, Meeta worked at Schering-Plough Research Institute as an Executive Director of R&D Licensing and an Associate Director of Cardiovascular Pharmacology.

Meeta Chatterjee has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Rutgers University. Meeta then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physiology from Rutgers University- New Jersey Medical School. Following this, they completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Physiology, General from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Meeta also studied Physics at St. Xavier's College.
