Samarth Kumar

Samarth Kumar has over two decades of experience in pharmaceutical research and development, currently serving as General Manager of Research Development at Sun Pharma since April 2011. In this role, Samarth leads ideation, development, technology transfer, and commercialization of Large Volume Parenterals. Previous positions at Sun Pharma include Senior Research and Development Manager, where responsibilities included formulation development of oncology molecules, and earlier roles focusing on liposomal drug delivery systems. Samarth's career also includes experience at Aristo Pharmaceuticals, Eros Pharma, and SmithKline Beecham, contributing to various dosage forms and formulation development. Academic qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Law from NALSAR University, a Master's in Industrial Pharmacy, and ongoing MBA studies. Samarth has consistently been recognized as a top performer throughout educational pursuits, including earning University Gold Medal honors.
