Sumit Narang

Sumit Narang is an experienced professional in the field of pharmacovigilance and drug safety, currently serving as the Director of Drug Safety at Sun Pharma since February 2023. Prior to this role, Sumit held various positions at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) from February 2019 to February 2023, including Associate Director and Global Head of Case Management. Sumit's experience also includes significant roles at APCER Life Sciences, where responsibilities included managing clients and a team of associates in pharmacovigilance processes. With a background in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and data analysis, Sumit has developed expertise in best practices related to ICH, GCP, and GVP. Sumit holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and has undergone training in the production of oral suspensions.
