Ruth Salcedo

Ruth Salcedo is an accomplished economist with a significant track record in tax compliance, trade, and institutional management. Currently serving as an Economist at the Risk and Strategies Intendancy of SUNAT since February 2021, Ruth has previously held key managerial roles such as the Manager of the Trade Single Window Project at the Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo and various leadership positions within SUNAT focusing on tax compliance and international cooperation. With extensive experience managing teams and large budgets, Ruth's expertise includes analyzing tax policies and participating in international negotiations to avoid double taxation. Ruth holds a degree in Economics from Universidad de Lima and further education from notable institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University and Universidad del Pacífico.
