10 Years of Cultivating Peace and Empowering Futures Through Education in Northeast India

Sunbird Trust is a registered Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) with a decade-long track record of advocating peace and sustainable development in the historically
conflict-affected regions of Northeast India. Founded on non-sectarian and humanistic values, our core mission is to leverage the transformative power of education to create
lasting change.

For over 10 years, we have strategically focused on empowering under-resourced children and youth. We believe that by providing access to quality education, we equip the
next generation with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking necessary to make informed choices, break cycles of poverty and violence, and become catalysts for positive
change within their communities.

Our Notable Achievements as of March 2025

51,641+ Annual Scholarships: Providing crucial financial support to ensure thousands of children can access and continue their education.

35 Schools & Hostels Built/Supported: Establishing and enhancing vital educational infrastructure in remote and underserved areas, creating safe and conducive
learning environments.

4,04,115+ Lives Impacted: Our comprehensive approach extends beyond direct beneficiaries, positively influencing families and entire communities towards peace,
dignity, and self-reliance.

Sunbird Trust is committed to a collaborative approach, working closely with local communities, government bodies, academic institutions, and both national and international
partners. We invite organizations and individuals who share our vision to explore partnership opportunities that can amplify our collective impact.
