Ken Ross is a seasoned energy professional with extensive experience in the solar energy sector. Currently serving as the Solar PV Executive Developer at Sunbird since October 2022, Ken focuses on project development and strategic partnerships in the European commercial and industrial solar photovoltaic market. Prior to this, Ken held several key positions at Terra Firma Solutions from March 2012 to June 2022, including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer, where responsibilities encompassed operations, business development, and overseeing engineering for renewable energy projects. Earlier roles include Head Engineer at Global Carbon Exchange and Energy Analyst at Lesedi Nuclear Services. Ken holds a BSc (Hons) in Electrical Engineering and an MEng in Renewable and Sustainable Energy from the University of Cape Town and Stellenbosch University, respectively, along with certification as a Certified Energy Manager.
