Shakeera Bennings

Shakeera Bennings currently serves as the Head of Tax at Sunbit since February 2024. Prior to this role, Bennings held the position of Head of US Tax at Impossible Foods from December 2020 to February 2024. Earlier experience includes serving as Director - Head of State, Local & Indirect Tax at Newell Brands and Tax Director - State & Local Tax at PwC, where Bennings progressed from Tax Manager to Tax Director between 2015 and 2020. Additional roles include State Income Tax Manager at Amazon, State and Local Tax Manager at Invesco Ltd., Senior Tax Specialist at Wendy's Arby's Group, and Tax Manager at Deloitte Tax LLP. Bennings began a career in taxation as a Tax Consultant at Andersen. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Florida.
