Cory Wright is an accomplished Project Development Lead at Suncor, with experience spanning over a decade in various leadership roles. Since September 2008, Cory has successfully guided projects through the early development stages, focusing on building business cases and securing funding for refineries and ethanol plants. Previous positions include Team Leader in Supply Chain Category Management, where Cory developed strategic supplier management programs and managed contract negotiations, as well as Reliability Manager for Upgrading Turnarounds, achieving significant safety milestones and managing large technical teams. Cory has also served as a Lead Mechanical Reliability Engineer, participating in cross-functional teams to improve capital projects, and has diverse engineering experience with companies such as Petro-Canada, Schlumberger, and BC Hydro.
