Ryan MacPherson

Ryan MacPherson has over seven years of experience as an oil sands geologist with a focus on oil sands mining, specializing in reservoir modeling and exploration drilling management. They have worked at Suncor Energy since 2012, progressing from a Senior Geologist to their current role as Manager, Reclamation, Field Services, and Geology at Fort Hills. Ryan's expertise includes building geological and mining models, pit mapping, and managing drilling programs. They hold a BS in Earth Sciences from St. Francis Xavier University and an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information Systems from the Centre of Geographic Sciences.
