Eric Hou

Eric Hou is a Senior Pricing Advisor at Suncorp Group, where they focus on enhancing pricing accuracy and portfolio performance in workers compensation. With a strong background in general insurance, Eric began their actuarial career in 2008 as an Actuarial Specialist at Chubb Insurance Company. They hold a Master's degree in Actuarial Studies from the University of New South Wales and the designation of Associate of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (AIAA). Eric has developed extensive technical expertise in SAS, VBA, and data-driven modeling, and is currently expanding their skills in artificial intelligence and data science to modernize insurance pricing frameworks.
